Sienna Reid

1964 - Today

By: Marcel Reid-Jaques | Date Added:

Sienna Reid has spent her whole life thinking about and fighting for the right to self determination for women. She is an excellent and caring mother, and she has produced hundreds of artworks over the past 30 years that document how history of women and our achievements has been written over and erased, as well as how words have the power to permanently scar, destroy, and control women. She continues to learn to modes of art every year, and after recovering from major heart complications and arthritis she is back at it, making sculptures, films, paintings, sound installations, 14-foot photographs!!! I am so proud of her.
