In 2008, she was nominated for a Young Artist Award for her work on the beloved show "iCarly". In that same year, she announced she was working on her debut album. After the end of "iCarly", Jennette took part of a spin off series playing her same character alongside Ariana Grande in "Sam and Cat", which was later cancelled. In 2015, she starred in the drama "Between". In 2018, she released that she is ashamed of 90% of her resume, and and she was never able to be cast in a project she was proud of. She has openly talked about her struggles with anorexia and bulimia from an early age, and how that impacted her life in the industry. In 2020, she wrote a one woman show titled "I'm Glad My Mom Died" and now hosts a podcast "Empty Inside". She has retired from acting.
