Sandy Learner was an influential business women who graduated from Stanford University Graduate School of Business during the 1980’s. Her childhood was spent divided between two homes as her parents divorced at an early age. At the early age of nine Learner bought her first steer and a few years later she was able to profit off it. This just started her career to success, as by the age of thirty she was able to own a head of cattle which was able to provide enough money to pay for her college tuition. Soon after earning her masters in econometrics Learner was able to move forward to a program leaning toward computer science. Upon getting married, Learner and her husband were expanding the use of computer technology at a wide and rapid pace. Eventually they tied themselves down to Cisco and were able to sell their first router in 1986. And by 1987 Cisco began to thrive due to Learners capability in business and the field of computer technology.
