Talisa Soto is an american actress and model who is well-known for portraying Princess Kitana in "Mortal Kombat." She began her career as a fifteen year old model who was respresented by Click Model Management where she was a part of many international brands' commercial campaigns and was also featured on some of the top fashion magazines in the world. However, in 1984 she debutted her acting skills in a comedy action movies called "The Pope of Greenwich Village." Little did she know that four years later she would star in the TV miniseries "The French as Seen by..." Soto was born on March 27, 1967 in Brooklyn, New York to Puerto Rican parents. In 1989 she won the ShoWest Convention Award in the Female Star of Tomorrow category.
