Kris Carr is an author and #1 best-selling author for Amazon, she is also a cancer survivor. In her film Crazy Sexy Cancer she had made a documentary about it where she documented her battle against epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, a type of cancer. Her best sellers included Crazy Sexy Diet and Crazy Sexy Kitchen. Kris Carr had also won awards, one of them were Shorty Award for Best in Healthy Living. Kris had a wake up call and it was to listen to her inner self. The inner guide had helped her bring her back to the church, garden, kitchen, and has helped her connect stronger with animals and people. She also mentions how exercise is nonnegotiable and the american diet is not everything, but a plant-diet rules, on top of that people must have fun. Kris's first books included Crazy Cancer Tips and Crazy Sexy Cancer Survivor. Kriss Carr existed on energy bars, fast food, auditions and takes. Carr was suffering from (EHE) which is a rare cancer that only 0.01 percent of the cancer population has. There are no cures for this cancer yet, and the doctor had been monitoring her for two months too see whether the tumors were steady or moving slowly. Carr had interviewed many physicians, not many of them had the answers for this cancer cure, but Carr had picked one and she had hired George Demetri, who was the director of the Center for Sarcoma and Bone Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institution in Boston. George Demetri was the right candidate not only for his medical credentials, but also for his kindness and compassion. Kris is brave and is not saying that cancer is sexy, but knows that she is still empowered and she has a voice and she can use it, "“I’m not saying that cancer is sexy,” she stresses. “What I’m saying is that we are still empowered. We are still alive and whole. I might have cancer, but I’m dealing with it and I’m still all that. The most important thing is to have a voice and use it.” Through Cancer Carrs had found her soulmate, Brian Fassett who had went to help her film, edit, and produce her documentary. During the documentary project they had fell in love and even decided to have kids, they have even started their own production company, Red House Pictures.
