Neri Oxman is an American-israeli architect, designer, and professor. She is the founder of "Mediated matter" and she directs the research group as well. She is an professor as the Sony Corporation career development and Associate professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab. She has also created a new term "material ecology" which means computation, fabrication, and material is inseparable dimensions of design. She is known for her creations of "imaginary beings" , "Ocean Pavilion", "Gemini" and much more. Her team has created the "G3DP" which is the first 3D printer that can print on transparent glass. She has also been awarded with the "Earth Prize" and the "Vilcez Prize." She was also featured on magazines and covers such as "Fast Company" , "Wired UK" , and "Icon."
