Erin Redd is a transgender activist and journalist, born in 1988 or 1989 in Louisiana, U.S. She shares her research through her newsletter, Erin in the Morning (published on Substack). In it, she highlights not only the toll that discrimination inflicts on transgender people but also raises awareness of the social contributions of transgender individuals throughout history. As she says: 'We have always been here. Transgender people have always been here. We are as old as humanity itself. If you could somehow erase every last one of us, we would still be here, born anew to every generation. We are part of what it means to be human.'
