Halle Bailey is a talented actress, singer, and songwriter who has captivated audiences with her extraordinary voice and talent. Bailey rose to fame as one half of the Grammy-nominated R&B duo Chloe x Halle, alongside her sister Chloe Bailey, with their critically acclaimed albums, The Kids Are Alright and Ungodly Hour, showcasing their artistry and earning them a devoted following. They also gained recognition for their roles as Jazz and Skye Forster on the hit sitcom Grown-ish, portraying smart, quick-witted twins and track stars at the fictional university, Cal U. In 2023, Halle Bailey made history as the first Black actress to portray Ariel in Disney’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid. Her casting sparked a global conversation about diversity and representation in media and inspired countless young viewers who saw themselves in her portrayal of the Disney princess. Bailey’s performance, especially her powerful rendition of “Part of Your World,” earned widespread praise for her vocal talent and heartfelt interpretation of the iconic character. In addition to her artistic achievements, Bailey is deeply committed to social activism. She is a spokesperson for PINK With Purpose and Gucci CHIME, initiatives aimed at empowering young women and promoting gender equality. She also launched the Angel Scholarship to support Black women pursuing further education in the field of performing arts.
