In life there may be many women with whom we share special relationships. Some who we believe will be permanent soulmates. One special woman in my life was my amazing girlfriend, Lluvia. She changed me for both the better and worse, as she made me realize that sometimes we can’t have everything we want. We have to be strong and to do what's right, and sometimes that means giving up the things we want most, especially our dreams. Lluvia was a very strong and passionate woman who cared for and valued those whom she viewed as family, especially her cat, Harper, She was willing to deal with her harsh upbringing and the hardships her brother, mom and divorced family experienced in order to remain with Harper. That made me feel that I needed to have a sense of responsibility, to take care of her and value her. I felt that being with her was like being bathed in sunshine—she always lightened my mood and made me feel welcome and whenever I was alone she was there despite having issues of her own. Everyone needs an individual like that, someone who's there and willing to do so much for people without asking for anything in return. She was someone who made me feel comfortable and safe, However, I came to realize that she always prioritized the things that really mattered to her, and I wasn't one of those priorities. That made me learn that there will be certain people in our lives who aren't destined to be there forever. You should value them and enjoy the relationship while it lasts. I feel that's what makes women like Lluvia the most valuable gender ever. They generate feelings of warmth and love and care. You grow to respect the person and see them as equals. Even when the relationship ended I cared and felt that it was one of the best relationships I ever had.
